US natural gas inventories rose by 53 billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week ended July 4, below the expected increase of 58 bcf.
The US Energy Information Administration reported today, July 10, that total natural gas inventories reached three trillion cubic feet (tcf), 5.8% less than the same period last year.
Inventories, however, were 6.1% above the five-year (2019-2023) average of 2.83 tcf.
