Saudi Arabia is working on establishing a commodities exchange in Riyadh, Khalid Almudaifer, Vice-Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs, said.

 

Almudaifer added in statements to Asharq News that the financial sector in Saudi Arabia is working on the details of this market, after the ministry had worked on it, noting that this market requires extensive preparations.

 

He mentioned that the presence of regional companies in various countries, their exploration of the region, and their geological knowledge will create an integrated mining economy.
