Tayseer Al-Mufarrej, Spokesperson of Real Estate General Authority (REGA), said several positive indicators are being witnessed in the Saudi brokerage sector since the roll-out of the Real Estate Brokerage Law on July 18, 2023.

Most notably, as of July 18, 2025, REGA recorded property transactions worth approximately SAR 1.2 trillion, resulting from over eight million real estate deals, he confirmed in his opening remarks at the Real Estate Brokerage Forum 2025.

Al-Mufarrej noted that the number of licensed real estate brokers exceeded 86,000. In addition, there are 75 licensed digital platforms hosting 685,000 real estate listings.

He pointed out that the Real Estate Brokerage Law has fundamentally transformed the sector’s structuring by regulating brokerage activities as a licensed profession, governed by clear rules, responsibilities, and obligations.

The above figures underscored the scale of the Saudi real estate market and the growing confidence of both local and international investors, according to Al-Mufarrej.
