Saudi revenues hit SAR 301.6B, expenditure at SAR 336.1B in Q2 2025

Saudi Arabia posted actual revenues of SAR 301.6 billion and expenditure of SAR 336.1 billion in Q2 2025, recording a budget deficit of SAR 34.5 billion, the Ministry of Finance announced today, July 31.

Actual Revenues:

 

In the first half, actual revenues dropped nearly 13% to SAR 565.21 billion.

 

Oil and non-oil revenues stood at SAR 301.54 billion and SAR 263.67 billion, respectively, in the same period.

In the six-month period, the government allocated SAR 111.22 billion to the military sector. Another SAR 155.8 billion and more than SAR 104 billion were geared towards the health & social development as well as education sectors, respectively.

The Kingdom’s public debt increased to nearly SAR 1.38 trillion by the end of H1 2025, from SAR 1.21 trillion by the end of 2024.
