US natural gas inventories rose by 56 billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week ended Aug. 8, above the expected increase of 55 bcf.
The US Energy Information Administration reported today, Aug. 14, that total natural gas inventories were 2.4% less than the same period last year, but remained 6.6% above the five-year average of 2.99 trillion cubic feet.
