The Ministry of Investment stated that 34 licenses were issued for regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia during the second quarter of 2025.
According to Argaam data, the decision to halt government contracts with any foreign company or commercial entity without a regional headquarters in the Kingdom came into effect in January 2024. This decision applies to government authorities, institutions, and funds affiliated with the government or any of its agencies.
Earlier this year, Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih said the number of companies establishing a regional headquarters in the Kingdom rose to approximately 600.
