Oil prices rose slightly on Monday's early trading after Ukraine intensified its attacks on Russia, raising concerns about potential disruptions to Russian oil supplies.

October Brent crude futures rose 0.1% (8 cents) to $67.81 a barrel as of 7:55 am Makkah time.

Meanwhile, U.S. October West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures gained 0.15% (9 cents) to $63.76 a barrel.

The uptick came after Russian authorities reported that Ukraine launched drone strikes on Sunday, which sharply reduced the capacity of a reactor at one of Russia’s largest nuclear power plants and triggered a massive fire at the Ust-Luga fuel export terminal, Reuters reported.
