General Authority of Civil Aviation, Transport General Authority collaborate for the experiment

Saudi Arabia carried out today, Sept. 4, a leading experiment for the delivery of postal parcels using drones, in a collaboration between the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and the Transport General Authority (TGA).

 

The initiative comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the transport and logistics system to advance the postal sector and boost its operational efficiency, state-run news agency SPA reported.

 

Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics Rumaih Al-Rumaih reiterated that this step will open new horizons for expanding delivery services and developing innovative solutions, in line with the Kingdom’s digital transformation initiatives.
