The reclassification comes in accordance to the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS)
The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) reclassified some listed companies in the Main Market (TASI) and the Nomu-Parallel Market, effective as of trading start on Sept. 14.
The reclassification comes in accordance with the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS), Tadawul said in a statement.
Five companies were reclassified (two on TASI and three others are Nomu-listed), as follows:
TASI:
- Transfer of Aldrees Petroleum and Transport Services Co. to Consumer Discretionary sector - Level 1 and Consumer Discretionary Distribution & Retail Industry Group - Level 2.
-Transfer of Al Taiseer Group Talco Industrial Co. (TALCO) to Materials sector - Level 1 and Materials Industry Group - Level 2.
NOMU:
- Transfer of United Mining Industries Co. Industrials sector - Level 1 and Capital Goods Industry Group - Level 2.
- Transfer of Clean Life Co. to Consumer Discretionary sector - Level 1 and Consumer Services Industry Group - Level 2.
- Transfer of Al Ashghal Al Moysra Co. to Capital Goods Industry Group - Level 2.
