Al-Modawat Specialized Medical Co. announced that construction work on the expansion project at the eastern building of its main hospital is nearing completion, with operations and the official opening expected during Q4 2025.

The company added in a statement to Tadawul that the expansion will increase the number of inpatient rooms by 23% and medical clinics by 12%.

The opening of the eastern wing will enhance the hospital’s capacity and boost patient numbers. The move is expected to positively impact the company’s financials from Q4 2025 through Q1 2026.

According to data available on Argaam, Al-Modawat announced in March 2024 that its board of directors approved the launch of the hospital’s SAR 3.2 million-expansion project due to rising occupancy rates.
