Cenomi Retail says Chairman, Deputy, 4 other board members resigned

Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Co. (Cenomi Retail) said its board approved the resignations of Chairman Fawaz Alhokair, Vice Chairman Abdul Majeed Alhokair, and board members Ahmed Mohamme Al-Sheikh, Ahmed Shaheen, Abdullah Albasri, and Mansour Alajlan.

In a Tadawul filing, the company said the resignations followed the completion of the private transaction through which certain major shareholders sold a 49.95% stake to Al-Futtaim Retail Co.

The board appointed Hussein Shobokshi (independent), Ahmed Arabi (non-executive), Ismail Alkhatib (non-executive), and Russell Rodrigues (non-executive) to fill four vacant seats, pending approval at the next general assembly meeting.
