2 Electrical Industries subsidiaries sign SAR 199M supply agreements with SEC

Electrical Industries Co.’s (EIC) subsidiaries, Wahah Electric Supply Company of Saudi Arabia Ltd. (WESCOSA) and Saudi Power Transformers Co. (SPTC), signed today, Sep. 16, supply agreements with Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) worth approximately SAR 198.5 million, excluding VAT.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the 19-month contracts will see the subsidiaries supply SEC with electrical distribution transformers, based on purchase orders issued by the utility.

EIC expects the agreements to have a positive impact on its financial results between 2025 and 2027, noting that no related parties are involved. The deals are binding on its subsidiaries but not on SEC.

 

According to data available with Argaam, EIC’s subsidiaries, WESCOSA and SPTC, signed, on Sept. 11, agreements to supply electrical equipment to SEC for nearly SAR 785.5 million (excluding VAT).
