Global Health Exhibition to witness multiple deals: Official

The ongoing transformation of Saudi Arabia’s healthcare sector is one of the key programs under Saudi Vision 2030, Director General of Corporate Communications at the Ministry of Health, Waleed Alharbi, said.

He noted that this transformation aims to promote healthy lifestyles and increase citizens’ life expectancy through enhanced prevention and the implementation of various initiatives launched since Vision’s inception.

Speaking to Argaam on the sidelines of the introductory event for the Global Health Exhibition 2025, Alharbi said the exhibition supports the healthcare transformation journey.

Last year’s edition saw the signing of agreements worth more than SAR 55 billion, while this year’s edition is expected to be larger in both the number of agreements and participants, he added.

This year’s event will feature agreements in artificial intelligence (AI), biotechnology, infrastructure, and supply chains, Alharbi said, emphasizing that these deals will help develop the healthcare sector and support the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program under Vision 2030.

The official noted that the exhibition will include a dedicated platform for signing agreements called “Deals Hub”, where hundreds of agreements will be signed around the clock between public and private entities. The event will feature over 2,200 brands, including leading global healthcare companies.

He also stated that the “Live Well” zone will span more than 3,000 square meters and be divided into four main areas: prevention, mental health, nutrition, and physical activity.

These areas will offer interactive experiences designed to encourage visitors to adopt new healthy habits in line with the Kingdom’s goal of building a healthier and more sustainable society, Alharbi added.
