Group Five board approves spiral pipe capacity expansion

Group Five Pipe Saudi Co. said its board of directors approved on Oct. 23 an expansion of its spiral pipe mills, boosting capacity by 350,000 tons a year through the installation of a new production line at its facilities.

 

The additional capacity is expected to come on stream from January 2027, Group Five said in a Tadawul statement.

 

With this expansion, the company will become a leading pipe manufacturer in the region and the Middle East, with total spiral-pipe capacity exceeding one million tons per year, the company added.

 

According to data available with Argaam, the company’s production capacity stands at 550,000 tons per year.
