Argaam CEO Islam Zween said that Saudi Arabia is witnessing a fundamental transformation in financial data and disclosures across all levels of the economy, describing it as a “financial data revolution” spanning every sector of the Saudi economy.

In an interview with Al Ekhbariya TV, Zween highlighted that confidence in the Saudi economy is built on solid economic data, adding that investment awareness has seen a major positive shift over the past five years.

“Local investors are no longer just passive recipients, but have become active users of data, reflecting the maturity and evolution of the investment culture in the Kingdom. Argaam platform is an integral part of this culture,” said the top executive.

He also stressed that the investment landscape in Saudi Arabia is seeing continued growth, though it still requires more time and effort to reach full maturity.

According to Zween, the number of investors has reached 7 million, who are actively participating across diverse markets, while the number of executed transactions last year reached about 128 million, compared to 94 million transactions a year earlier.
