Saudi chemicals exports decreased by 1% month-on-month in August: General Authority for Statistics
Saudi Arabia's exports of chemical industry and related products decreased by 7% year-on-year (YoY) to nearly SAR 6.64 billion in August 2025.
Compared to July 2025, the chemicals exports decreased by SAR 63.6 million, or 1%, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics.
Chemicals and related products made up 23% of August’s SAR 29.3 billion in non-oil exports.
India topped the list of chemicals importers from Saudi Arabia at nearly SAR 2.5 billion, accounting for 38% of the total exports of chemical products in August. China and the UAE followed with 12% and 6%, respectively, as shown in the table below:

Saudi Arabia’s imports of chemical industry and related products reached SAR 6.61 billion in August, up 2% YoY.
Chemical imports accounted for 9% of the total imports of SAR 74.9 billion, as shown in the following table:
