SAL seals deal with Syrian Airlines for air cargo ground handling services

SAL Logistics said the agreement covers comprehensive operational services, ensuring the seamless flow of Syrian Airlines operations in the Kingdom

SAL Saudi Logistics Services Co., through its ground handling division, signed, on Dec. 15, Syrian Airlines Company, to provide comprehensive integrated solutions covering ground handling for air cargo.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the agreement covers comprehensive operational services, ensuring the seamless flow of Syrian Airlines operations in the Kingdom. These services include, among others, cargo ground handling, storage operations for flights operated by Syrian Airlines.

The company said the agreement does not specify a contract value, as services will be paid for on demand and in accordance with the prices specified in the agreement.

This agreement reinforces SAL’s strategy to enhance the efficiency and reliability of its services provided and to offer high-quality solutions that meet customers and international partners’ expectations, the statement added.

The agreement will remain in force for one year, with an option for renewal.

SAL noted the deal is expected to have a positive impact on its financial results over the contract period, confirming that no related parties are involved.
