GASTAT data shows prices of 169 goods and services in 10 categories
Average prices of 86 out of 169 goods and services in 10 categories in Saudi Arabia moved higher year-on-year (YoY) in November 2025, data issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed.
Prices of 79 goods and services decreased, while four remained stable without change.
Central African lemon was the highest gainer last month, up 31.25% YoY, followed by coffee beans with a 16.85% YoY increase.
Meanwhile, local round onions were the biggest decliner, dropping by 30.50% YoY, followed by imported round onions, which declined by 22.86% YoY.
Prices of 25 housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuel items rose in November, while 13 others declined compared to the same period in 2024.
Elsewhere, prices of four pet products and other cultural items increased, while one item declined YoY.
In the clothing category, prices of three items increased YoY, while seven others retreated YoY for the same month.
Prices of all three miscellaneous personal service and commodity went down YoY.
Prices of one household furniture, appliances, and maintenance item rose in November 2025, while the other three decreased.
Likewise, prices of the three health services witnessed a YoY rise in the same month.
For transport services, one rose and the other declined in November.
Regarding restaurants and accommodation services, the price of one service increased during November 2025, while the prices of the other two services decreased.
Under the tobacco category, the price of Marlboro cigarette was lower 1.38% YoY by the end of November.
