Saudi Cable secured approval to settle SAR 155.5 million in zakat dues over nine years, easing pressure on its cash flows.


Saudi Cable Co. received on Dec. 23 approval from the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) for an installment plan covering zakat dues and filings for the years from 2012 through 2023, totaling SAR 155.46 million.

 

The company said in a statement to Tadawul that the installment plan will span nine years, with 36 quarterly payments, and the first installment due on Feb. 1, 2026.

 

Saudi Cable added that the plan will support its efforts to stabilize its financial position and cash flows.

 

According to data from Argaam, the company reached a settlement with ZATCA in 2023 over zakat differences for 2015-2018, agreeing to pay SAR 103.97 million, reflecting a reduction of SAR 41.01 million.
