Saudi Arabia’s Real Estate Market is set to move from the Ministry of Justice to the Real Estate General Authority (REGA) by the end of January, a source familiar with the matter told Al-Eqtisadiah.
REGA will use the expertise of the Real Estate Market staff at the Ministry of Justice during the transition to ensure continuity and smooth service delivery without affecting users.
Data from Argaam shows the Ministry of Justice launched the Real Estate Market in August 2023, after a pilot phase in November 2021.
It offers property trading services, including buying and selling, parcel division and consolidation with property IDs, deed updates, mortgage services, and related real estate operations.
