Bitcoin dropped 1.1% to $89,945 at 12:47 p.m. Mecca time, accounting for about 58.4% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, fell 0.85% to $3,108.55, while XRP slid 3.5% to $2.1004.
The total global cryptocurrency market capitalization stood at $3.08 trillion, with a 24-hour trading volume of $111.04 billion, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
Markets are awaiting the US monthly jobs report on Friday for further clues on the outlook for monetary policy this year.
