Saudi Real Estate Co. said Abdullah Abudawood will take over as CEO from April 5, 2026
Saudi Real Estate Co.’s (Al Akaria) board of directors approved, on Jan. 24, the appointment of Abdullah Abudawood as CEO, effective April 5, 2026, according to a Tadawul statement.
Abudawood has more than 25 years of experience across the public and private sectors, with a focus on leading institutional transformations, enhancing operational and financial efficiency, capital allocation, governance and risk management, and building public-private investment partnerships.
His experience spans real estate development and asset management.
Abudawood led the establishment of Remat Al-Riyadh Development Co. and contributed to enabling investment in city-related assets and services through long-term strategic partnerships with the private sector.
He has held senior posts at a unit of telecom major stc, Jazan Economic City and the Industrial Valley at King Abdullah Economic City.
Abudawood holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Business and Technology, a board member diploma from IMD, the Certified Chair credential and advanced executive programs from London Business School, INSEAD and IMD.
