Saudi Arabia issues 168 new industrial licenses in December 2025 as production begins at 117 plants

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 168 new industrial licenses in December, while 117 factories began production during the same month.
 
The newly licensed projects represent investments exceeding SAR 1.98 billion and are expected to create more than 1,576 jobs across various regions of the Kingdom, according to data from the Ministry’s National Industrial and Mining Information Center.
 
Meanwhile, factories that commenced operations in December accounted for SAR 1.68 billion in investments and are projected to generate 2,587 jobs.
