King Salman International Airport’s project spans 57 square kilometers.

King Salman International Airport signed seven MoUs with leading Saudi real estate developers on the sidelines of the fourth PIF Private Sector Forum.

According to SPA, the agreements were signed with Sumou Holding, Mohammed Al Habib Investment, Kinan, Ajdan, Retal, Urjwan and Osus.

The MoUs were signed as part of the airport project that spans 57 square kilometers, with around 12 sq km allocated for real estate development. Plans include mixed-use projects such as residential communities, retail and leisure centers, offices and hospitality assets, in partnership with the private sector.

The partnerships aim to create an integrated urban environment aligned with high planning standards, linking aviation, real estate and lifestyle offerings, in line with Vision 2030 goals.

The airport will also feature integrated economic and logistics zones covering nearly three million sq meters.

Under construction on the site of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the project will include existing terminals and three new ones, six runways, residential and leisure assets, and logistics facilities. It will span 57 sq km, targeting capacity of 100 million passengers and over two million tonnes of cargo annually by 2030.
