Almunajem expands portfolio with planned GCC-Yemen tademark acquisition
Almunajem Foods Co. announced that it has reached a preliminary agreement to acquire the intellectual property rights of the two international trademarks “Doux” and “Supreme” in Saudi Arabia, the GCC, and Yemen, according to a statement to Tadawul.
The move aligns with its strategy to enhance business growth and expand its brand portfolio in the poultry sector, in line with relevant government directions. It further aims to localize leading global brands in the industry, thereby strengthening its asset base, supporting local content initiatives, and improving supply chain efficiency and product quality offered to consumers.
Both trademarks are currently owned by France Poultry Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Abdullah Al Ali Almunajem Sons Company, a related party.
The assignment agreement will be finalized and signed in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. Any material developments will be announced in due course in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
