Saudi Arabia intercepts 24 drones, 7 ballistic missiles

Saudi defense forces intercepted and destroyed 24 drones and seven ballistic missiles, Ministry of Defense Spokesman Turki Al-Maliki said today, March 11.

 

Nine drones were intercepted in the Rub' al Khali (The Empty Quarter) while heading toward the Shaybah Oil Field.

 

A ballistic missile launched toward the Eastern Province was also destroyed, along with six ballistic missiles fired at Prince Sultan Air Base.

 

Two drones were intercepted in Hafar Al-Batin, five east of Al Kharj, and eight in the Eastern Province.
