Iran to allow up to 15 vessels a day through Strait of Hormuz: Report

09/04/2026 Argaam

Iran will allow no more than 15 vessels a day to pass through the Strait of Hormuz under the ceasefire agreement it agreed with the US, Russia's state TASS news agency quoted an unnamed senior Iranian source as saying.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy released a statement accompanied by a map outlining the designated shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz.

It is known that Iran has almost completely closed this vital waterway since the start of the war at the end of February, leading to a sharp rise in global oil prices.
