Investment Minister Fahd Al Saif inaugurated today, April 12, Lenovo’s regional headquarters (HQ) for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa in Riyadh. This comes as part of Saudi Arabia’s push to boost its appeal as a hub for global companies.

The minister said the move reflects the success of the Regional Headquarters (RHQ) Program in attracting multinationals and enabling them to manage and expand operations from the kingdom while highlighting opportunities for investors in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Lenovo will use the hub to build an integrated presence in the Saudi market with local partners, supporting regional growth and meeting global demand through a business ecosystem combining decision-making, logistics, and an enabling investment environment.

The company’s investments include research and development (R&D) programs and skills initiatives, as well as a manufacturing platform with capacity of about 8 million units annually, aimed at creating high-quality jobs and advancing technology and industrial localization.

The launch coincides with Lenovo’s expansion in Riyadh’s Special Integrated Logistics Zone, which is drawing more global firms to establish advanced operations in the Kingdom.
