Horizon Food inks deal with Al-Imdad Al-Jadeed to supply products to Makkah

Horizon Food Co. signed a supply agreement for its products with Al-Imdad Al-Jadeed Trading Establishment, a leading food service provider in the Makkah region, which includes the supply of a range of Horizon Food products, according to a Tadawul statement.

This partnership comes as part of strengthening the company’s presence in the market and expanding its distribution network to meet customer needs in Makkah and the surrounding areas, the company said.

It added that the contract value may exceed 15% of its total revenues for the fiscal year 2025, as the revenue value is variable and depends on the volume of orders.

This agreement comes in line with both companies’ strategic objectives to strengthen cooperation and expand business operations.

Horizon Food aims to enhance the market presence of its products, while Al-Imdad Al-Jadeed Trading Establishment seeks to strengthen its capabilities in providing diversified and high-quality food services in the Makkah region and surrounding areas, in alignment with the growth and expansion plans of both parties.

Moreover, the contract aims to supply the largest possible quantities of food products, particularly during the Hajj season, the Umrah season and the blessed months of Ramadan in order to meet the needs of restaurants, retail outlets, and the food service sector in Makkah and the surrounding areas, and to contribute to serving the visitors of the Holy Sites throughout the duration of the contract.

According to the statement, the contract term is two years, automatically renewable unless either party notifies the other of its intention to terminate within the specified notice period.

The financial impact of the contract is expected to commence in the second quarter of 2026, as it coincides with the Hajj season in that period. There are no other related parties involved in this contract.
