Innovation Space to Become a Unified Platform for Showcasing Cutting-Edge Technologies at SPIEF 2026

From 3–6 June 2026, the Innovation Space will open at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) as the flagship technology, science, and venture investment platform of the Roscongress Foundation. The venue will host discussions on the most relevant areas of technological development and feature an exhibition of innovative solutions from leading Russian companies.

Here, visitors can explore the latest developments from major corporations and startups and meet their creators in person. I am confident that the platform’s rich content will be highly appreciated by both industry professionals and all SPIEF participants interested in technology and its impact on the future," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee. 

One of the central themes of the Innovation Space business programme will be the adaptation of the economy and society to the era of artificial intelligence. Participants will discuss how to integrate emerging technologies into business processes and ensure seamless collaboration within hybrid teams of people and AI agents. Particular attention will also be given to new industrial quality standards and the technological competencies required across different sectors. 

Another key topic will focus on bringing corporate IT solutions to market. Many technologies developed within large companies remain confined to internal use, and participants will explore strategies for cooperation between business, academia, and government to create competitive industry-specific solutions. 

Participants will also discuss the accessibility of new technologies for small and medium-sized enterprises in the regions, cybersecurity challenges, dependence on foreign products, and the cost of technological implementation. Additional sessions will address robotics, quantum technologies, and biotechnology. 

Innovation Space will serve as a unified exhibition space for presenting advanced Russian technological developments at SPIEF. 

At the stand of Positive Technologies, visitors will witness the Standoff AI Cyber Battle, demonstrating in a highly realistic environment how artificial intelligence is already transforming cybersecurity. Within a cyber range replicating digital models of real industries and corporate infrastructure, an autonomous AI agent will attempt to attack the oil and gas sector by identifying vulnerabilities, progressing through an attack chain, and reaching a critical scenario. Simultaneously, a defensive AI agent will investigate the incident, reconstruct the attack sequence, and determine where the infrastructure came under threat. 

The company will also showcase Positive Labs, featuring advanced methods for assessing the security of modern devices. Among the exhibits will be a laser-based fault injection system used for microchip security analysis. Built entirely on proprietary engineering solutions—from optical architecture to control electronics and software—the system has already been used to study dozens of Russian, Chinese, and Western semiconductor chips. 

Among the more unusual formats featured at Innovation Space will be a historical digital tour of the St. Petersburg headquarters of ER-Telecom Holding. The company’s office is located in the 19th-century Main Telegraph Building on Pochtamtskaya Street, a regional cultural heritage site. Through a dedicated digital project, Forum guests will discover how this historic space was transformed into a modern hub for developing future technologies while preserving its original architectural character and atmosphere. 

The developers of the AI-powered public procurement platform PROGOSZAKAZ.RF will present a solution designed to improve the efficiency of government procurement processes. The Russian technology company Electromotiv will showcase a robotic police officer capable of replacing two to three patrol officers, as well as a robotic gardener. BITROBOTICS will present a modular robotic packaging system for food manufacturing facilities, while Applied Robotics (Russia) will demonstrate an underwater robot equipped with AI-powered vision. 

At the stand of 3Logic Group and SBE Robotics, visitors will be able to observe humanoid robots and robotic dogs in action. The Russian technology company Kashalot will present an electric all terrain vehicle featuring a quick-change ski attachment and an IT module for urban environment monitoring. The vehicle automatically adapts to seasonal conditions and independently regulates its speed and route. 

Visitors to Innovation Space will also be able to explore drone suppression systems developed by Kilowatt, AI-powered construction site video monitoring solutions from QMonitoring, biometric terminals with locally deployed neural networks from Inoface (Metrika B), flexible thin-film solar panels manufactured in Russia by SOLARTEK, and many other innovations. The Innovation Space will be located in Pavilion G and will operate throughout all days of SPIEF 2026.
