Foreign institutions net buyers of SAR 837.6M on TASI last week

Foreign institutions on the Main Market (TASI) were net buyers of stocks worth SAR 837.6 million during the week ended June 18, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) said in its latest weekly report.

 

Foreign institutions accounted for 42.82% of total buy transactions and 39.62% of total sell trades on TASI.

 

Meanwhile, foreign individual investors sold nearly SAR 50 million worth of stocks during the same week.

 

Saudi retail investors were net sellers of shares worth SAR 972.8 million, pressured mainly by individual professional investors who sold shares worth SAR 514.7 million, high-net-worth investors (SAR 378.6 million), and individuals (SAR 82.6 million).

 

Saudi institutional investors were net sellers of shares worth SAR 43 million, pressured mainly by corporates which sold shares worth SAR 396 million. Meanwhile, investment funds were net buyers of stocks worth SAR 122.3 million, government entities (SAR 82.1 million) and institutional DPMs (SAR 148.7 million).
