Sumou Real Estate Company Announces the Formation of the Executive Committee

1. Eng. Abdullah Al-Budeir – (Board Member) (Committee Chairman)

Brief Biography:

Eng. Abdullah Mohammed Suleiman Al-Bdair holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (2001) and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Manchester Business School, United Kingdom (2015). He brings over 26 years of professional experience in leading strategic transformation programs and business development across multiple sectors, spanning both the public and private domains, during which he held senior leadership positions within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad.

He served as Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing from 2020 to 2024, in addition to holding the position of Chief Executive Officer of Al Rajhi Group in Saudi Arabia. He has also chaired and served as a board and committee member for a number of government and private companies and institutions.

2. Mr. Ziad Bassam Al-Bassam – (Board Member) (Committee Member)

Brief Biography:

Mr. Ziad Bassam Mohammed Al-Bassam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, supported by specialized training in financial management and investment, as well as advanced programs in senior management and strategic planning. He has over 25 years of professional experience in corporate leadership and management, as well as board and committee chairmanships and memberships across several sectors, including real estate, insurance, healthcare, and industry.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Al-Bassam Group since 2020, in addition to holding chairmanships and memberships on several boards and committees across various companies and entities.

3. Mr. Saeed Salem Al-Nahdi – (Board Member) (Committee Member)

Brief Biography:

Mr. Saeed Bin Salem Al-Nahdi holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting, from the University of Bahrain. He possesses over 30 years of professional experience in executive management, real estate development, investment, and the consumer sector, having held numerous senior leadership and executive positions in prominent companies and institutions within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Arabian Gulf region, and North Africa.

He currently serves as CEO and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sumou Holding Company, alongside membership of boards of directors and committees in several investment and real estate companies and institutions.

4. Eng. Essam Kalthoum – (Board Member) (Committee Member)

Brief Biography:

Mr. Essam Kalthoum holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, obtained in 1982, and possesses more than 40 years of professional experience in the fields of real estate development, investment, industry, and executive management. Throughout his career, he has held a number of executive and leadership positions in governmental and private entities operating across various sectors within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Asmo Real Estate Development Company, alongside membership of boards of directors and committees in several investment and real estate companies and institutions.
