DFM-listed banks reported Q2 2026 results that exceeded the consensus forecasts tracked by Argaam.


Banks aggregate net profit covered by research firms reached AED 11.35 billion, compared with the consensus forecast of AED 10.32 billion, a rise of 10%.


Actual profit of most banks were broadly positive versus research estimates for Q2 2026. Emirates NBD beat forecasts by 6%, while Mashreqbank, Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), and Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) posted earnings ahead of consensus by 25%, 15%, and 2%, respectively, for the quarter.

Conversely, Ajman Bank  actual earnings were 2% below the consensus forecast for Q2 2026.

Seven research firms provided their earnings forecasts for DFM-listed banks in Q2 2026. First Abu Dhabi Securities delivered the most accurate estimates for both Mashreqbank and Commercial Bank of Dubai, as well as for Ajman Bank.

Meanwhile, Financial and Investment Securities was closest to consensus for Emirates NBD, while United Securities reported the most accurate forecast for Dubai Islamic Bank.
