The Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), the country’s central bank, said it expects inflation to remain stable in the kingdom during the second quarter of this year.
SAMA warned of potential inflationary pressure on commodity prices stemming from increased demand during Ramadan and the Eid holidays.
However, it added that this scenario could be offset by a global drop in commodity prices, which would boost the value of Saudi imports.
