The Saudi stock market, given its highly regulated nature and attractive opportunities, will see interest from foreign investors, Asharq Al-Awsat has reported, citing Musaed Al Mineefi, chief executive officer at Saudi Investment Bank (SAIB).

Alistithmar Capital, the investment arm of SAIB, has received several inquiries from financial entities as regards accessing the Saudi market.

Meanwhile, Al Mineefi said he expects SAIB to maintain its profitability in the second half of 2015.

Saudi Arabia opened the Saudi stock exchange to foreign qualified investors in June 15, 2015.
