Saudi Arabia is facing a shortfall of 1.5 million residential units, the state-owned Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing housing minister Majed al-Hogail.
Supply of units currently stands at 25 percent of the market, while 75 percent of population cannot find affordable products, the minister said.
He said there was a need to rely on accurate information in dealing with the housing issue.
