Saudi Arabia launches projects worth $306 mln in Makkah

Saudi Arabia has launched development projects worth $306 billion (SAR 1.15 billion) in Al Kamil and Khulais governorates in Makkah Province on Jan. 4, Saudi Gazette reported last week.

 

Prince Khaled, the governor of Makkah Region, launched 11 municipal projects in Al Kamil worth SAR 788 million. They include rainwater drainage network, a cultural center, and a city beautification plan, the state-owned daily added. 

 

He inaugurated up to SAR 370 million projects in Khulais, including public squares, a bridge, public markets and general road infrastructure improvement work.
