Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) on Sunday signed 30 agreements worth more than SAR 18 billion to allocate sites for industrial and commercial investment projects in Jubail, Yanbu and Ras Al Khair.
RCJY also inked 10 contracts worth SAR 1 billion to develop infrastructure in these cities through construction of housing units, educational facilities, water stations, power and communications networks, and road maintenance, in addition to providing design services for the shipbuilding complex.
The agreements include two deals signed with Saudi Aramco to allocate industrial locations for establishing projects in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City, Argaam reported earlier.
The commission has attracted local and international investments valued at SAR 1.2 trillion, while the state expenditure on RCJY’s cities reached SAR 150 billion since their establishment, chief executive officer of the Royal Commission in Jubail Mosleh Al-Otaibi said.
