Takween names Al Mulhem as CEO

Takween Advanced Industries Co.’s board of directors has named Jameel Al Mulhem, the company’s managing director, as chief executive officer (CEO) effective April 17, 2018, the company said in a bourse statement.

Former CEO, Azhar Kenji, was appointed as a consultant reporting to the managing director, the statement added.

Kenji will also maintain his membership at the company’s executive committee.

The step came based on a recommendation from the nominations and remunerations committee to restructure the company and provide supporting services to its staff, Takween said.
