Saudi Arabia’s Shrakat program, which was launched by the Ministry of Housing, signed contracts with 16 real estate developers to build new homes, Salah Al-Ghamdi, a ministry official told Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper on Sunday.
Six developers were contracted in Jeddah, four in Madinah and two others in Makkah, he added.
Shrakat scheme aims to enhance partnerships between the housing ministry and private sector to provide affordable residential units for beneficiaries.
