Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings has affirmed Saudi Arabia’s long- and short-term ratings at “A-/A-2” with a stable outlook.
The Saudi economic growth is expected to stabilize at an average of 2 percent during 2019-2021, the firm said.
The stable outlook is based on expectation that Saudi authorities will take steps to consolidate public finances over next two years, it said.
S&P added that Saudi Arabia ratings are driven by “strong” external and fiscal stock positions.
