Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD) is expected to draft an authenticated electronic employment contract within the next eight months, labor minister Ahmed Al-Rajhi told Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper on Tuesday.
Commenting on the planned contract, Ahmed Alzahrani, Labor Policy Deputy at MLSD, said that it will offer three key services, namely the exit visa, exit and return visa, and secondment of employees with other employers.
The new services seek to enhance the labor market efficiency and ease the movement of human cadres inside the market.
“The new draft contract aims to improve employment relationship and facilitate the related services,” Alzahrani added.
