Most Saudi job seekers expect better job market in next 6 months: survey

As much as 86 percent of Saudi Arabia-based respondents in a survey think that the future job market situation will get better in the next 6 months, according to the Q1 2019 Saudi Arabia job market survey by headhunting firm Michael Page.

 

The survey also found 45 percent of respondents would like to ideally live and work in Saudi Arabia for up to six years, while 64 percent are positive about the current job market situation.

 

Career prospects, better standard of living and salaries are the top three reasons people are living and working in Saudi Arabia, the survey findings revealed.

 

It also added that the top three aspects of their job that respondents are most satisfied with are general working conditions, level of responsibility and their current sector/industry.

 

However, almost half (47 percent) of the respondents considered limited scope of work and salaries in current roles as the top two reasons making them look for a better job.
