  • Arab for Calcium Carbonate Manufacture Company is a joint venture between Al-Sorayai Group, Al Jazeera Paints Company and Al-Sorayai Industrial Investment Group by 25%-48%-27% respectively. 
  • The company announced that a contract to supply machinery to the factory has been signed with a European company, with a value of about 15.6 million Saudi riyals, during 2014.

  • Commercial production started in November 2017 after shifting plant location from Yanbu to Jeddah. 

  • Production capacity was boosted to 230,000 tons per annum (from 180,000). The company expects financial impact to commence in Q1 2018.
