Overview
Developing King Abdulk Aziz Road on a total area of 1.2 million sqm. The road extends, for a length of 3,650 meters and width of 320 meters, from the western roundabout on the intersection of Jeddah highway with the third ring road until it intersects with the first ring road up to Jabal Omar Project. The road connects the first, the second and the third ring roads with Abdullah Arif Street and Al Mansour Street. It extends southward with an average depth of 500 meters and passes through unplanned settlements located on 345 hectares, the western roundabout which will be parking lots, and 141,000 sqm the total area of King Abdullah Mosque.
The project will be implemented in three phases. The first phase comprises of three sub-phases. Under the first sub-phase, 535 properties will be demolished over an area of 176,000 sqm. The second sub-phase includes demolishing properties in Al-Zaharain district located west of Abdullah Arif Street to the third ring road. The third sub-phase includes demolishing properties in King Abdullah Mosque area. The second phase of the project includes developing the southern road. The third phase includes expropriation of properties located at the area between King Abdullah Mosque and Jarham Street, and the area between King Abdullah Mosque and Abdullah Arif Street.
The project also includes developing residential towers, hotel towers, malls, Masar Mall, other hotels and a hospital

- In Q1 2015, the company awarded Nesma and Partners Contracting Co. Ltd. a SAR 6.7 billion contact to implement the infrastructure of the project.
- In Q4 2019, the company and Alinma Investment Company announced the successful completion of the launch of Makkah Real Estate Development Funds at a value of SAR 17 billion, to develop seven hotel towers, including five-star international hotels (Taj Hotel and Kempinski Hotel), four-star hotels (Hilton Embassy), three-star hotels (Hilton Garden Inn), hotel apartments (Kempinski Residence), and two malls.
