Saudi cement sales grow 8% to 4.7M tons in July
Total sales volumes of Saudi Arabia's 17 cement companies increased by nearly 8% to 4.7 million tons in July, compared to 4.4 million tons in the same month last year, according to recent data from Yamama Cement Co.

Domestic sales of 10 industry players increased year-on-year (YoY), led by Yamama Cement with a 69% rise, followed by Northern Region Cement Co. with a 41% annual hike.
However, another seven cement producers reported lower domestic sales in July. Al Jouf Cement Co. saw the steepest YoY decline of 22%, followed by Eastern Cement Co. and City Cement Co. with a 14% annual pullback each.

Six Saudi companies exported clinker in July, topped by Yanbu Cement, with roughly 367,000 tons. Saudi Cement ranked second with 100,000 tons in clinker exports for the same month.
