Saudi cement sales up 2% YoY to 5M tons in January
The aggregate sales of the 17 Saudi cement companies increased by 2% to 5.1 million tons in January, compared to five million tons last year, according to data issued by Yamama Cement Co.

Domestic sales of nine cement producers recorded year-on-year (YoY) growth, led by Umm Al-Qura Cement Co. (+45% YoY), followed by Al Safwa Cement Co. (+16% YoY).
Meanwhile, local sales of seven companies declined on an annual basis for the month, led by Northern Region Cement Co. (-44% YoY) and Al Jouf Cement Co. (-26% YoY).
Yanbu Cement Co., on the other hand, maintained its sales unchanged YoY at 386,000 tons.
