Southern Province Cement Co. posted SAR 44 million in net profit for the first nine months of 2025, a fall of 69% from SAR 143 million in 9M 2024.

The year-on-year (YoY) profit slump was ascribed to weaker revenues. This followed a drop in sales volumes amid a higher cost of sales given the increased cost per sold unit. This was coupled with a decline in financing revenues and other income for 9M 2025.

The company’s Q3 2025 net profit fell by 95.9% to SAR 2 million, from SAR 49 million in Q3 2024. This was due to the elevated cost of sales, paired with higher financing costs.

 

The three-month net profit also tumbled by 86.7% from SAR 15 million in Q2 2025.

 

Total shareholders’ equity, no minority interest, amounted to SAR 3.29 billion as of Sept. 30, 2025, inching up from SAR 3.24 billion in the same period a year earlier.
