Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SAIC) reported a net loss of SAR 162.5 million in 2025, compared with a net profit of SAR 295.1 million in the prior-year period.

The company attributed the losses to lower revenues, resulting from higher unrealized losses from financial assets at fair value through profit or loss and lower realized gains from the sale of financial assets at fair value through profit or loss.

 

These were in addition to reduced profits from the sale of stakes in associate companies and increased financing costs.

 

In Q4 2025, the company turned to losses of SAR 53.26 million versus profits of SAR 9.88 million in Q4 2024.
