×TASI rises 0.4% to 8,747 points, turnover hits SAR 15.4 bln
Saudi equities rose for the seventh consecutive day, as the benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) gained 0.4%, or 39 points, to 8,747 points on Tuesday, recording the highest close since July 2019.
MSCI implemented the changes related to its semi-annual Index Review, with Sulaiman Al Habib added to the Leading Companies Index. Halwani Bros, Alujain Holding Corp, Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SISCO) and Saudi Fisheries Co. (Alasmak) were added Small Cap Index.
Total trading reached SAR 15.4 billion, with advance-decline ratio at 92:89.
Market Index
Banking major Al Rahji rose 1.1% to SAR 74.80, while blue chip SABIC edged up 0.4% to SAR 96.90.
Saudi Aramco gained 0.7% to SAR 36. The oil giant started paying Q3 2020 cash dividend at SAR 0.352 a share from today.
Abo Moati closed 7% higher at SAR 52, its highest close since listing, amid trading of nearly 7.8 million shares.
Naseej hit limit up at SAR 36.30.
FIPCO, Wafrah, Alhokair Group and Saudi Paper closed nearly limit high.
